Helsinki-based private equity firm CapMan Buyout has announced the appointment of Maija Joutsenkoski as Partner, effective April 1st. Ms. Joutsenkoski, who joined the company in 2022, has demonstrated her leadership skills and strong drive during her short tenure, making her a valuable addition to the team.


A Decade-Long Experience in Private Equity and Industry

Ms. Joutsenkoski brings with her over a decade of senior-level experience in both private equity and industry. She most recently served as the head of corporate strategy at UPM-Kymmene, where she worked with a wide variety of businesses, stakeholders, and topics. Prior to that, she was an Investment Manager at Nordic Capital and an Analyst at Goldman Sachs Nordic Investment Banking Team in London.


Proven Essential to the CapMan Buyout Team

Ms. Joutsenkoski played a crucial role in CapMan Buyout’s investment in Hydroware last spring and has since made significant contributions to deal flow development. She has also established herself as a key leader within the team from an operational and leadership perspective. Currently, Ms. Joutsenkoski is a member of the board at MM Sports, DEN Group, and SARC Architects.
